Speaking of Davao International Airport, the airport will add new international route servicing Davao to Hong Kong with Cebu Pacific as carrier. Cebu Pacific will also fly directly from Davao to Singapore. Though, there is an existing lingkage between Davao and Singapore already via Silkair, still this comes as a very welcoming news for Davao City. Great news indeed 
!
At present, there are three international routes for Davao International Airport namely:
1. Davao to Singapore – Singapore to Davao (SilkAir)
2. Davao to Manado – Manado to Davao (Sriwijaya)
3. Davao to Palau – Palau to Davao (Asian Spirit)

“The Sun Star reports that Cebu Pacific is set to expand its operations in Davao by making it the third hub after Manila and Cebu by May 8, 2008. The airline will base an A-319 aircraft at the Davao International Airport to service direct flights from Davao City to Singapore, Hong Kong and Iloilo. The decision to make Davao as the airline’s third hub is in preparation for a more expansive inter-island connectivity, as they plan to acquire more aircraft in the next few years.“

Can you confirm that? Is true possible this year? Kasi its been a rumor the past few YEARS kaso lang until now walang pang flight na ganyan. From to darwin and riyadh.

pero lately na tingala ko sa ako mga kaila nga naka book na earlier davao-singapore-davao flight, gi kalit lang cancel ila direct flight to davao-manila-singapore or ang uban ilang return ticket nahimo na og singpaore-manila-davao. where in fact ila gi book direct man unta.

Davao international airport is for international flights, its really serve for the davao region and the rest of mindanao. more flights more visitors, more tourist here in davao city and the rest of davao region. keep it up

sad to say wala nang international flights ng cebu pacific davao – hongkong and singapore…. they move the international hub sa clark…. silk air na lang ang natira pero connecting flight to via cebu….. tsk tsk tsk sana bilisan pa nila ang development sa davao more malls, more conventions, more hotels, condominiums and most of all dapat may isang lugar dito na puro casino and theme parks like enchanted kingdom…..
