Davaoeño Divers All Set for Beijing Olympics

I am getting excited for Beijing Olympic Games this August. Hoping I can get cable subscription and watch my favorite events unfolds. Good thing there are internet forums for sharing files. I’ll simply download those games recorded from TV broadcast in message boards. It’s not live though but better than nothing.

For us dabawenyos we can simply hope for the best to our fellow dabawenyos who will represent us in olympic diving event specially to the only filipina triple-gold medalist in the history of the South East Asian Games Sheila Mae Perez. Reuter considered her as the best diver in Southeast Asia. Do you know that she came from a poor family in Sasa, Davao City? Sheila dives for scraps for living. From humble beginning to its dramatic rise to fame, her life story made it to become a soap opera drama in television starring Camille Prats and Nikki Bagaporo to play her role.
