RP Thrashed Mexico in Boxing

RP scored almost a sweep scoring 5-1 to win Boxing World Cup vs Mexico.

All my productive activities halted today because I watched the exciting matches of Philippines vs Mexico World Cup boxing at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California. My eyes were glued in the television all day cheering for our gallant boxing team. The Philippines emerge victorious against their Mexican opponents winning 5 straight matches. But our heavy favorite Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista failed miserably when he got knocked out by highly determined Daniel Ponce De Leon of Mexico in the first round.

Our very own Davao boy Prince Gabi outpoints Beranza in his match contributing a point to that 5-1 scorecard. Congratulations Prince Gabi for making us proud to be Dabawenyo and to the rest of the Philippine boxing team.

Prince Gabi said his new haircut “ala 50 cents” gives him good luck in his fight.
