Construction Update: Kukun Hotel, SM Annex, ONB and USEP Gymnasium
SM Annex in Ecoland looks good to go for a grand opening hopefully this February. One Network Bank looks massive at 7-storey and Kukun Hotel is rising fast at the Abreeza Complex .I don’t really like the output of the USEP Gym but, I am excited for the USEP Gym nonetheless because the city is badly in need of a sports venue.

SM Annex Mall Expansion at Ecoland
SM Annex, the SM Davao Ecoland expansion, looks like its about to open this February.
Expect new brand of shops in SM Annex. The 2nd Starbucks in Davao is located here. (SM Annex pics: from Thanini and Allenation @ SCC)
One Network Bank
This is where our public school teachers are getting their loan. ONB is one of the fastest growing banks in the country today. (pics: Elbartolo @ SCC)
USEP Gymnasium
The USEP Gym should have commercial strips along the road instead of that unsightly gate. That would neatly spruce up the area and becomes more walkable.
Inside the gym is unfinished, they will install retractable seats and air conditioning system . Hopefully, a rubber gym flooring and a nice ceiling too. (pics from: http://rudedolfo.blogspot.com/)

sad to reads there comments na nag babatuhan ng mga tai….im a solid davaeno in fact gipanganak ko og nidako dinhing siudada….dakog impact sa naga basa nang ilahang ginapost na mga tai…it makes bad images not only in DC or CDO but the whole mindanaoans as well..

i’m from cdo.. but for kesen, i do not agree with what you are saying… davao is very progressive, cagayan de oro is very progressive.. it’s nothing compared to other cities in mindanao and the rest of the archipelago.. it’s just that, we may find our cities racing to become the king city of the south or the prime city of mindanao but…. can’t you see it? this mental illness with what you have..trying to succumb this invulnerable feelings inside you about davao keeps our city falling backwards.. there’s no such thing as davaoenos or kagay-anons.. but rather, we are filipinos racing to the top to overtake our asian neighbors.. let’s face it.. we really can’t deny the competition being felt in the eyes of every people.. but the whole point here is that we are just lucky that we are chosen to be one of the few cities in the philippines to help our country to become a superpower in the making.. look at uncle sam(united states), they have chicago, new york, texas, los angeles, san francisco, hollywood etc who marks the american history of great progress and prosperity for its people.. and now, we are trying to reach that achievement in behalf of metro manila and cebu who has been racing to lift us up.. look at other southeast asian countries, thailand and indonesia to name a few.. they only have bangkok and jakarta as the very most center of development and industrialization with the help of pattaya as thailand’s second tier city.. look at the other cities and provinces in indonesia, it’s nothing compared to cdo and davao.. it’s just that, cdo, davao, with the rest of emerging cities like iloilo, bacolod, gensan, zamboanga, baguio, puerto princesa simply states that they made philippines as a superpower country in southeast asia.. who knows? in the next 5 years, we already have davao and cdo on the international market list…..something that people around the world will be owed by our great city.. in short, let’s race our city in a way that we can create an original image in the international society.. not just a crap and polyglot race between cities like what we are doing in davao and cdo today.. that’s mental illness as i say… competing davao and cdo? what a LOL!! we ain’t got nothing compared to metro manila gane!! the fact that we are both mindanaoan cities, let’s be a model of peace, progress, development, prosperity, icon, and a leading mother cities to our younger neighbors like gensan, iligan, butuan etc……
