Water Parks: EMAR’s Wavepool at Times Beach

Opened early this year, a water park with wavepool is a wonderful addition to the growing number of tourist attractions invested in Davao City. EMAR’s Wavepool is located in Times Beach and is one of the newest and popular water parks in the city.
A wavepool is a large swimming pool that has artificial waves that simulates an ocean. The water park also has slides, bubble pools, toddler creeks, restaurant, a hotel and beach resort (I think it sounds really fun).
This is the first ever wavepool in Mindanao covering 2000 sqm. A larger wavepool is now being constructed by the LDL Realty in an unknown location which is expected to open on the first quarter of 2011.

This wavepool is actually not the first in Mindanao… there was a wavepool operating in Zamboanga before this but sadly it went unoperational. So, this is the second but the only operational wavepool facility in Mindanao.
Davao is still the first. EMARS resort is success!
I agree…. the one in Zamboanga didn’t succeed so EMAR”s wavepool is officially the first in Mindanao.

I would like to ask if you cater for weddings and how much per head- the number of guests is between 150 and 200 pax. and with the per head fee, what would be included and hours covered. If you do cater for weddings we are planning to have both the ceremony and reception at Emars. Hoping to hear from you.
