Isla Reta Beach Resort in Talicud Island, Samal
This is my first of the series of articles that features Davao and Samal Island’s beaches. Isla Reta is a small but cozy resort in Talicud Island, one of the islands in Samal or known officially as IGACOS. Like the rest of other beaches in Samal, Isla Reta also has fine white sand beach and a crystal clear blue water.Weekend makes beaches in Samal too crowded, so its best to go a little farther going to Talicud Island. From Davao City, you can take a bangka ride (motorized boat) and travel 30 minutes to reach Isla Reta. Since its far from Metro Davao, its an ideal place to escape from the buzzle of the city.

The Boat was located in Sasa Warf the tax driver already knows the place.
Boat Fare is 70 per person
Electricity comes only at 4pm to 6am..
They have close cottage for overnight stay just ask them how much.
Last trip of boat going back to Davao City is around 4pm.
Travel Time from Sasa Warf to Isla Reta Resort 30minutes to 1hour.

Hi! this is my fave beach resort kasi pwede maligo kahit low tide not like the resorts in Samal walay tubig kung low tide. D ka-swimming. I also love the place kasi far from civilization. Hope to be there sa Kadayawan while everybody is busy in the city. For sure konti lang tao. 🙂

We’re flying to davao for a short vacation this month and planned to go to Isla Reta beach for four (4) days. How much would we (A friend and I – 2 persons only) be paying if we rent the native cottage + intrance fee + and boat fare going to the island?
I would also like to know if transportation will still be available around 8:00pm – 9:00pm?
PS : We’ll be there by night Nov 28 and gone late afternoon, Dec 1. Is that considered 4 overnights still?
